Parent Expectations


1. Support the team Culture
Please help reinforce our values of respect, hard work, and sportsmanship. Celebrate effort and improvement-not just results.
2. Positive Sideline Behavior
Cheer enthusiastically, but refrain from coaching from the stands. Avoid questioning calls, criticizing players, or engaging in negativity towards empires, coaches, or other families.
3. Communicating Protocol if You Have a Concern

Wait 24 hrs before contacting a coach.

Schedule a private meeting away from practice or game time.

Approach discussions with respect and soluntions in mind. Please do not address issues during or immediately after games.
4. Attendance and commitment
Ensure your play arrives on time, prepared, and equipped for all practices and games. If your child will be absent, notify coaches as early as possible. Practice is very important to earn gametime.
5. Modeling respect
Parents represent the Copperheads baseball club just as much as players do. Conduct yourselves with courteously towards opponents, officials, facility staff, and tournament organizers.

Always give your best effort. Be coachable, stay positive and bring energy to practices and games.
2. Respect the Game
Treat coaches, teammates, opponents, and umpires with respect. Poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated.
3. Commitment to Development
Come prepared, uniform clean, gear ready, water bottle filled. Listen during instruction and apply feedback. Work hard both at practice and at home.
4. Team First Mentality
Support teammates, celebrate their successes, and stay engaged in the game weather you are on the field or on the dugout.
5. Accountability
Take risibility for your actions. This includes effort level, attitude, punctuality, and maintaining your equipment.
