Body language in baseball speaks before you ever do.
How you react after an error, a strikout, or a bad call tells coaches more about you than any highlight ever will.

With over 12 years of coaching experience, I bring passion for athlete development and a commitment to building strong fundamentals across multiple sports. I have coached soccer, football, baseball, and working with athletes of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to more advanced competitors. My couching philosophy centers on teaching sound fundamentals, fostering confidence, and emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. I strive to create a positive supportive environment where athletes can grow not only in their sport but also as individuals. Whether introducing young athletes to the basics or helping experienced players refine their game, my goal is always the same: To inspire a love for competition, learning, and personal growth through sports.

Assistant Coach
Dan Davis
A lifelong Arizona resident, I’ve been playing and coaching baseball for over 45 years. The game has always centered on three core principles for me: knowledge, intensity, and respect.
First, knowledge of the game is essential. Having played at a high level and coached at both the high school and college levels, I understand what it takes to compete at the next level. I’m committed to giving players the tools and understanding they need to get there.
Second, practice must be done with intensity. No two moments in baseball are the same, and practicing with purpose creates the game-time feel players need when it matters most.
Third, respect the game. Baseball may be “just a game,” but it demands effort, humility, and sportsmanship. When players respect their teammates, opponents, umpires, and families, they learn to play the game the right way — and have fun doing it.
Over the years, I’ve been blessed to coach many athletes who have advanced to play across the country — from community college to Division I programs, and even professional baseball from A-ball to the big leagues.
Off the field, I’m a proud father of four amazing kids who keep life busy and rewarding. Professionally, I’ve served as a Valley firefighter for nearly 30 years, including 23 years as a Captain, and spent over two decades as adjunct faculty at Glendale Community College teaching Firefighter I & II. I truly believe if you love what you do, it’s never really work.
It’s an honor to give back to the game that’s given me so much.
See you at the field!
